Patrick Donahue (Singer - Songwriter - Guitarist)

Patrick is an Austin-based guitarist/singer/songwriter, specializing in guitar-centric tunes influenced by blues, country, soul and Americana roots music. As a long-time ‘hired-gun,' Patrick toured nationally and internationally with major label and independent acts, including Dexter Freebish and George Devore. He has performed on stage with Don Henley, Edwin McCain, Pinetop Perkins, and many others. These days, he appears both as a solo singer/songwriter, and as guitarist and principal vocalist with his band, The Rust Tones. Their debut record, ‘Tales From the Bar,’ earned comparisons to The Band and Little Feat, and was listed as a ‘Favorite Americana recording of 2006’ by Austin’s KOOP radio. Two additional records followed, and Patrick is currently working on a solo release. He was selected to perform at the Dripping Springs Songwriter Festival in 2014 and 2015, and was a featured performer at the Stone Valley Songwriter Festival in 2015.
